Learning & Development

The RSE offers learning & development opportunities in a number of ways.

Specific work related opportunities requests are mainly funded by the RSE whilst personal development requests from staff (for professional qualifications for example) may receive up to 50% funding.

The RSE believes in developing staff and encouraging life long learning and offers numerous opportunities for staff to attend both external and internal events on:

  • Information technology
  • Management skills
  • Corporate reputation and customer skills
  • Health & Safety
  • Personal Development (Assertiveness, Negotiation skills, Report Writing)

The RSE organises a yearly Learning @ Work Week where staff are given the opportunity to share their skills and knowledge and developing their existing skills at work.
