Status and Supply of Science and Maths Teachers in Scotland
A report of a joint discussion organised by the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Royal Society on the status and supply of science and mathematics teachers in Scotland has been published.
The discussion event, held at the RSE earlier this year, sought to explore the Royal Society’s Report on a Vision for science and mathematics education, in the context of developments in Scotland.
The meeting brought together key influencers in Scottish education to discuss the Vision goal that, Teachers have high professional status and there is a strong supply of science and mathematics specialists.
