RSE responds to consultation on BBC Charter Review
The Royal Society of Edinburgh has submitted a response to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport consultation on the BBC Charter Review. The response stresses the need for stronger governance arrangements for the BBC and consideration to be given to a new model of funding. The paper also highlights the need for the organisation to continue to produce high-quality content, keep up with technological advances and strengthen its news service for Scotland.
