Review of Enterprise Agencies
The Royal Society of Edinburgh has submitted an Advice Paper to the Scottish Government to help inform its Review of enterprise and skills services.
The paper addresses:
- The Scottish Government's Economic Strategy, the main challenges facing the Scottish economy, and the need for clear economic objectives;
- The role and functions of the enterprise and skills agencies and the need to further encourage leadership, entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship;
- The structure of enterprise and skills agencies, and the possibility of bringing together some of the operations of the four seperate agencies.
